E. A. ‘Erv’ Uhl, a charter representative for Aerovent Fan Company, started the Aerovent Engineering Company in 1940 covering the entire state of Indiana. His son Dick joined him in 1961 and hired Steve Carr in 1967. Erv retired in 1968 and his other son Don joined Dick and Steve. In 1975 Dick Levins joined the team and the company began its representation of Twin City Fan and Blower and the Wheelabrator Frye Co. At that time it was decided to re-name and incorporate the company as Air Applications, Inc.
Dave Franks came on board in 1977, Andy Schleich in 1988, Scott Shively in 1989 and Ryan Funke in 1995. Carrie Tienda joined Air Applications as Office Manager in 2005. We welcomed Tom Braunecker to the team in 2012, Adam Chandler in 2014, Dave Workman in 2018 and Ryan Seymour in 2024.
